Cultivation Committee
Cultivation Committee is a team of parents who work with Big T to develop new programs and opportunities, improve facilities and equipment, and spread the word in our community about all the wonderful things happening in our school. Some recent projects include:

Renovating the outdoor education area
Acquiring new science equipment for the science lab
New Playground Design that incorporates natural elements (rocks, water, sand, dirt) that can be creatively manipulated and explored, encouraging open-ended play in a rich learning environment.
Developing public relations materials on behalf of the school
Launching the new Big T website
Applying for grants

	Parent Involvement Big Thompson Elementary School is fortunate to have a number of community and parent volunteers who support the endeavors of the teachers and staff any way they can. Our volunteer team works diligently to ensure the success of each and every child at Big T. Our school consistently has numerous volunteers who actively seek out new and innovative ways to give of their time and talents to the kids and staff.
